Borg don't bother beaming nanite assimilation probes onto the enem vessel and were almost annihilated by the equivalent of a divide by zero math problem. The ship computer can do chat GPT tier command stuff but is a distinctly non-sentient AI. Data is basically IBM Watson made more human-esque And autistic in a metal shell.
