@LanceTurner @Bellingen Blimey, that’s legalised corruption. They’ve done a right number on everyone, too: when (native) logging gets talked about it’s framed as essential to the local economy. Nope, only 1000-odd jobs and most of them aren’t in native logging. Would not be hard to retrain those people if needed.
Makes me angry, Tassie has some of the last great wildernesses in the world. Logging a habitat of that nature is inconceivable to me.
