Man I hate the dead Internet so much. I just want to find some posts from early 2000s to 2015s forums where someone is talking about niche things related to sewing machines. I want something in between total bottom of the barrel and $150 because I only want to do basic straight stitches and the ability to go backwards, and for some reason that doesn't exist.

Okay I understand the sunk-cost aspect, but make them upgradable or modulator and I will consider it. Otherwise it's paying for crap I don't need. Can there at least be a diy scene for this of an open source upgradeable unit?
