Xi probably didn't execute his ally Li Keqiang, but Jiang Zemin's loyalists are exploiting it as yet 'another Xi paranoia execution', true or not, and creating insane instability in the CPC. Like anything else, a country divided cannot stand, however it can take a decade to fail.
