@tomo @allison AFAIK Discord was meant to do an IPO this summer. The fact that they have not shows that Discord is losing value – ie the present investors do not believe Discord is worth launching an IPO (because the whole point of an IPO is to a) inject cash into the business and b) garner value for existing shareholders through increasing share prices).
My opinion is that Discord is under stress from impatient investors, which means that they’re haemorrhaging cash, therefore, investors are unlikely to top them up.
Of course, we can only guess, but the fact that they have ‘missed’ their IPO without even saying anything about it is probably a big warning sign.
