DIY elephants, can you help me out? How do I get a screw out that sits really REALLY tight? I want to remove some sort of cup holder thing in the bathroom that was screwed in by previous tenants.
It looks like it hasn't been moved in a century and doesn't want to start with that now.
It's also very close to the wall, so it's hard to get a grip to begin with. And it doesn't help it's a slotted-head screw either.
And yes, direction is correct, should be the same as the other two I managed to remove eventually. ;)
I have an electric drill but would need to buy the right screwdriver bit first, (and I am not sure it can get close enough to the wall for this.)
Would WD-40 work or just make this screw even more slippery?
