Yet a bit over 2 years ago Gannett shut down their former weekly in Hopkinton, The Hopkinton Town Crier. If 2 weeklys can survive profitably in Hopkinton, why couldn’t Gannett’s weekly have survived? Is Gannett so bad at running local newspapers?
