it's honestly a fascinating subject (biased, obviously) but amazingly underresarched (despite being fascinating)

eg, some trans folks experience biochemical dysphoria; we can absolutely feel these things even outside the context of societal constructs

there are also significant biochemical differences in trans brains; eg trans women (even those who have not undergone hrt) have been shown to have brain structures aligned with their real gender as opposed to the one assigned based on genital shape
