@icedquinn @kaia Getting it less depressing is usually relatively easy... Just switch of the ceiling light and drop some smaller lights here and there..
In one of the edged of your room. Maybe something on the windowsill.
Get some RGB lights if you can so you can control the "tone" of the room more easily.
Experiment with the lights, as often as you like whenever one lamp starts to annoy you. ;)
