I don't think architects are trying to hoodwink you into liking what they like with euphemisms. That's a feminist thing and it kind of sucks because they are ultimately deferring to the image of the woman on the left. There is something to be said for unambiguous like "plump," "chubby," "pocchari" etc. Or simply "fat."
