@Xenophon Both things are true though, are they not? Jesus came from his seed, and he was the father of many nations. God will use the faithful in ways that are beyond their comprehension. My gut tells me Noah didn't recognize that he'd have to functionally rebuild civilization even though that's what God had planned for him. He built the arc, he was saved from the flood by his faith.
