John Mastodon might develop the most popular software on the net, but he doesn't control all of the servers that make it up. ⬅️ this is important.

because of how the fediverse works, this is what you need to do to gain representation. you have to create your own servers and start getting people from your own community to join. often this means soft-forking the software to make it work better for your needs.
