That's the point. It's not that they believe these lies.
It's that they want to stop the conversation on improving blocklists from even happening. Because they're happy with the status quo. They like it.
But here's the thing: The conversation *is* happening. Blocklists will improve, and will become more widely used. The Fediverse will become more welcoming for more Black users, and without every new admin needing to become an expert in every terrible corner of the internet.
