Bethany BlackAnd when Spider-man spends time with Sandman as he’s dying, Sandman’s sat on the beach and knows he’s about to dissolve into sand and Peter just sits with him to keep him company at the end, he decides to take his mask off “the last thing you see shouldn’t be a mask” and Sandman asks him to keep it on, saying he couldn’t take it if he “looks like Chris Evans under there” and in his last moments wished he’d lived a better life.
