I wonder if eventual realities will cause sane instances to band together to form some sort of auto-allowlisting approach to fediblock.

no admin, especially on small instances, can keep up with manual whitelisting. but what if you could band together with a group you more or less trust, and once n of them decide for their own reasons that a new activitypub domain makes the allowlist, you do too?

to be clear, I don't want this, but I see it as a possible endpoint of continued network growth.
