@jack @jstepien this is why it's absolutely obscene to me that there are people who think that we should be moving everything to web apps instead of native apps because all that is going to do is bloat the web and our browsers even more because they'll need to replicate all of the capabilities of a standard desktop graphical user interface toolkit and operating system toolkit as well as all of the capabilities of an operating system sandbox and permissions system, except with all of the other complexities and headaches of doing that stuff securely over the Internet added on top. An utterly horrible end up seeing proposition when we already have a way to make graphical applications, even cross platform ones.
