@lanodan @Moon That's probably why they focus more on the most shallow form of diversity which is physical traits that we don't have control over. It's also the most visible form so it lets them say they are diverse through appearance and branding alone. Not something that they will get people questioning as much if they can show diversity in a visible way.

Well, it is that and they want that funding by showing how proudly diverse they are through being given awards for it by very specific groups. You don't see it for hiring non-minorities. It is very telling when they have pages on diversity showing these charities for minorities giving them awards.
