@p @SNEK @SoyMagnus Anyway yeah about the speech, she ends it with "-noni" which apparently roughly translates as "despite", so it's something like "even though today I'm master's..."
So maybe sensei (she's a buruaka right?) forgot and went off flirting with someone else and that's what she's unhappy about.
