On ko-fi you can choose whether to be anonymous or not.

On Liberapay, anonymity is the default setting. I tried it for a short time with anonymity switched off, but it revealed people's donations even for ones who had donated when it was all anonymous, so it seemed better for privacy to return it to the default.

If someone who has donated via Liberapay wants to claim credit, they can DM me with the date and amount (which proves their identity) and I'll do a shout-out for them.
