@chillanarchist01 Honeycrisps, despite being Trademark encumbered, are my personal favorite. I plan to use the Red Delicious and Galas for baking and applesauce (canning), whereas the Honeycrisp and Fujis will be enjoyed fresh.

I'm lucky to have a number of orchards in my local area. Many of them have their own cultivars that I plan to ask for cuttings from (for grafting).

I'd ultimately like to have 5-6 varieties of apples to choose from. I'm sure some will do better than others in my region.
