@Humpleupagus @Dan_Hulson @Tony @Red_Hat @IcyGrillz @Klaatu @Sabex @ForbiddenDreamer Jobs didn't really exist until the mid 20th century. Prior to that everyone either worked land, had a trade they plied, had a bunch of side hustles or (worst case scenario) worked as a day labourer.
The closest thing to a 9 to 5 job with fixed hours in the old days was being a member of the government and even then the hours weren't that static usually.

White society wasn't built by unthinking automatons counting down the seconds of their day until they could leave their contractually mandated slave labour job. It was built by free White men.
