Though Acer doesn't really have the reputation of building ever lasting hardware, and the keyboard in that photo looks like your average normie laptop keyboard.
What makes the old ThinkPads so great is that the keyboards resemble regular keyboards much more closely.
Of course not all the way, but it's still the 3x3 row for things like Insert, Delete, Home, End, Page Up, and Page Down instead of having them all on 1 row or spread out over the entire keyboard with some of them requiring you to use the Fn key, all the Fnumber keys are separated into groups of 4, and so on.
