How do you know that God didn't plan for that entire situation? Do you think it was easy for Jerome to suddenly be called a killer and threatened by every patrician around? For all we know that death sparked a major revival in the church even if it started from a few people hate-attending to get a good look at the guy they blamed. And here's the other thing: I never said Jerome was infallible. I'm not even sure this wasn't a mistake. I just think it's awfully presumptuous of you to take the heckin' /r/atheism tier take on this as a way to "own the trads". Shameful.
