I wouldn't even claim thinking-out-of-the box. It is almos self-evident that such a strategy has a high likelyhood of working.

(Oh, and anyone who has followed Rachel Maddow's #Ultra pod series knows there has always been political meddling in such high-profile cases. Only this time, it might actuall do some good.)
