Kim Possible@aral It's so sad. There is so little affordable housing in my area. Sure, they are building townhouses and apartments, but the townhouses cost over $300k and I can't imagine the rent on those new apartments. The ones nearest us are $1200 a month. If you do the math that "rent should only be a quarter of your income," that means everyone should be making almost $5k a month. That is not the average pay of any worker who would rent an apartment, not even for couples or working two jobs. Where are our essential personnel, the people who keep society running, supposed to live?!?
