Valve just wants me to buy games from their store while Microsoft (if they have the ability given to them) wishes to control my entire digital footprint. I still use some Microsoft services out of expediency and/or because they make for easily accessible controlled opposition, but Linux is one thing I absolutely will not budge on for better or worse.
