    I think that's the official iPhone/iPad app which you're running on your Mac. If you prefer, you can log in on your server's website (which for you is https://mastodon.social).

    None of the apps determine character limit, whatever numbers they show. The only thing that determines character limit is the server itself. That's why the most accurate character limit is found by logging in on the server's website.

    Apps are just tools for accessing servers.
