   Hi ! We do not restrict people asking for donations. No measure has been taken against :

   The issue here is that we limit some big instances as a whole because of recurring spam waves. https://mastodon.social and https://mastodon.world are part of it and this is why any user on those instances will be limited by our instance.

   I don't know what to do. Measures taken against instances are here for good reasons, but this is obviously a problem as we do not want to restrict reach and visibility for people in need.

   I'll lift the limit on those two instances right now, at least temporarily, until I have the input of the rest of the team on how to proceed with this issue.

   I was trying to figure out why @Mastodon stopped reporting accurate stats to https://fedidb.org & https://fediverse.observer (active users is reportedly “zero”).

   The #Mastodon flagship https://mastodon.social is experiencing “technical difficulties” with their API right now. I am praying 🙏🏾 @Gargron & the Mastodon team fixes the issue soon!
