Alon@TruthSandwich @vidar @futurebird Wait - none of what I'm talking about is communism. I don't think it really makes sense to speak of communism or socialism before the industrial era. The point of socialism was to replicate egalitarian communal structures at scale; that's not really a thing in a preindustrial society.
