- Embed this notice@Silverwolf @Moon @lebronjames75 The latchkey generation also didn't have parents at home to raise and guide them, to teach them how to do things. I think a part of this might be down to both parents working or leaving them to raise themselves or their peers.
But then I just wonder, what about the silent generation? The world wars perhaps fucked a lot of things up because so many lives were lost. This may have broken a chain when it comes to educating the next generations.
Either the grandparents and family were close by and so could help raise the children which we have lost now since we move a lot now or we have a few generations now that just don't know how to do this. They don't know how to communicate with teenagers. Technology does it for them and now so many teenagers are caught in this loneliness trap where they look to strangers for support and guidance. It hasn't gone so well.
