@silverpill that was an interesting talk about activityPub (AP):

One of the slides mentions a few unfulfilled (yet) niches using AP, among which are:

- file sharing
- instant messaging

The presenter argues that AP can handle those use-cases. However, I do believe in leaving those two to 1) torrenting (over i2p, for bonus points), 2) matrix, respectively.
