@YKantRachelRead honestly I feel like it's not just that that subset has been traumatized into centering the needs of others all the time I think it's also because the specific rhetoric that the people defending the bad place use is incredibly hard to fight and deal with because it completely turns the tables around and heavily co-ops Progressive language and causes we do actually deeply care about in order to attack us and shield themselves from criticism. It's crybullying.
