@thomasfuchs I really feel like the fact that it's a "common frustration" is made up. I've read dozens of tweets/toots that claim that fact but never experienced (or had friends/colleagues experience) that problem in real life. If anything it's surprising what unexpected things work when you connect two devices via a USB Type-C cable (e.g. phone-to-phone charging).

In general it's a made up problem, because most devices come with cables that work for their purpose.
