    @sdouglass I guess it depends on the crowd. But music videos have worked for me -- and for getting friends to listen to music - thats about it.

    As far as getting my music listened to, I had a windfall of music streams (around 5k on spotify) after a couple of songs were used by a popular youtuber on a video.

      Aw man, this is really cool. I forgot I emailed Colin Furze a British fellow who builds a bunch of crazy shit for Youtube, and sent him my music. I watched his newest video today, and he uses two of my songs! https://youtu.be/fjSN8ig_EHI At 8:30, you hear Sugar Island, which I released with my band Setlers, and then during a build montage, you hear 25 seconds of Surf Rock, which I released last year under Wandering Monsters. I'm kinda jazzed about it :D
