What quantity/frequency/ method of delivery is most likely to get you to listen to music shared by your friends? Albums feel like a lot and are hard to share on social media. EPs feel like asking a lot less but are also hard to share. It's a lot easier to share a single song, especially if you have a video for it. But making videos is a ton of work. And how many EPs/singles could a friend release and promote how often before it gets annoying? And is genre variety on an album/by an artist ok?

I posted something similar on Facebook and did get some replies there. They were from other middle-aged white guy musicians like me, though. I was hoping to hear from people less like me to get some different perspectives. The replies there were almost all in favor of releasing albums for whatever that's worth.
