@EpicKitty @Jain Thanks, I'll have to consider self hosting too I suppose (though I rather not deal with the headache, given people keep calling self hosted email the hardest thing to host properly).

As for anonymity; I'm fine with trusting for example my payment information to site, but need to have some proof that they aren't data mining and selling my emails (preferably not even reading them/storing them longer than they need). So no, I'm not crazy enough to do some cash in an envelope nonsense or cryptocurrency bullshit.

I do need POP or IMAP access, affordable service and multiple accounts. (Preferably free to try things out). No advanced features or big storage, but PGP automation could be nice. Oh, and I suppose the domain should be pronounceable (if move family members over too). Runbox has been okay so far, except it is a bit pricy.
