Kristian@feditips Blind guess: Maybe it's "just" due to testing and QA. Mastodon gradually becomes more visible with each and every Twitter exodus, and the more it does, the more it's possibly helpful to have releases in which web UI and mobile app work somehow seamlessly together and most of the important features do as they're supposed to. Maybe from that point of view, 4 months between releases aren't that long a time. ?
