Ethan Black@copilot @Gargron Having posts be searchable by hashtag rather than by all of its text is one of the characteristics of Mastodon, so when this feature was added having it be opt-in made sense (thank you so much #Mastodon). Personally, I like the idea of choosing how my posts are found.
