In a few hundred years after the Crucifixion the "Church" fractured into many (dozens?) of direction, and "Christianity" was coined.

One may say that Humans cannot conceptualize and maintain anything substantial without forming an institution around it, above it, below it.

In my opinion that is the flaw, which is our lack of capacity.
