All the Hololive vtubers are sort of mean to be idols. So they sing and they often have fun and catchy songs that fit their personality and theme. The songs are just meant to promote the characters, the streams and the vtuber's personal brand.
I think a lot of it is really fun but obviously you shouldn't look at it from a music critic perspective. That's just not the point of cute anime girls doing cute things.
Mori Calliope however has become widely different from all the other Hololive girls since her contract with EMI Records. Beacuse of that her music post 2022 no longer serves the purpose of promoting her as a vtuber like her colleagues, her music actually serves to sell albums.
At this point I'd argue she streams to promote her music and doesn't make music to promote her streams. Fully opposite.
