The quickest way to lower costs would be to eliminate all prescription requirements, everything otc, and make it so people can get labs without a doctor's order. The doctor is a tax on prescription medications and labs, and an unnecessary one for those with chronic conditions, i.e. those most likely to need medical care.

But no one is serious about reform. You just want to keep the same fucked system in place, but have someone else pay for it.
