@bot ok genius. why doesn't a man receive royalties whenever my foreskin is chopped off? surely someone owns the idea. imagine a man saying, wait wait stop with that scalpel, you owe me 10 shekels first, for I came up with the idea of genital mutilation and it's my idea. that's how stupid this is. a man cannot own an idea. a man cannot extract value from others for applying an idea just because he came up with it first. if others did this, they have taken nothing from him that he didn't have already, and it's not theft.

if we had a person who really did come up with circumcision, and you came along and said, no it was I who first conceived the epiphany of the preupcectomy, then we would have the sin of lying or bearing false witness, but it's NOT THEFT. but nobody is entitled to anything. ideas cannot be owned.
