A guy in his 40s probably shouldn't be digging ditches all day, but I'm not going to insult him if he does. A lot of tradey work is going to be difficult to automate because everything is variations of outdated codes (if any) and nothing is as clean IRL as what you see in a lab or school. I can't see a robot mechanic dealing with an oddly warped or bent part covered in grease. Of course I'll probably be proven wrong, but it's going to take a while.
