It's the only other "economical" gym I am aware of, however, vs. something like Planet Fitness which is more aligned towards things I'm disinterested in (e.g. weightlifting). Also, a lot of Golds offer stuff like saunas and pools and trainers/classes if interested, where I'm pretty sure Planet Fitnesses offer none of these. All the other gyms around me, by comparison, cost like 8x/mo.
