@mischievoustomato @NEETzsche @coolboymew yeah, usually it referes to left and right, in america it got coopted to mean democrat and republican. they're both right wing parties, quite a bit more than a lot of countries, but as long as they keep feeding people the bullshit propaganda through their whole lives, and keep telling them that thats left vs right, the shrink the overton window to just the systems beneficial little area, anything farther on either side is extremism, when in reality they havent even touched leftism
