I hate the tendency of trans people who are not trans women to use their trans identity as a shield from criticism about behavior towards trans women.

You might be trans, as in don't identify with your assigned birth ("demi" cis people not included), but you're not trans women. You don't experience transmisogny which is one of the most vile and hateful and violent forms of oppression. You may experience erasure of your identity or oppression from other identities, but not transmisogny.

So when trans women say "Hey your behavior is hurting us" and you go "but I'm trans too so shut up" that's not okay. I see it too often on fedi and it's fucking gross. The fucking audacity to pull that shit angers me like nothing else.

And the way cis "allies" like are0h treat transmisogny as non-existent and reduces all trans experience down to just a change of identity without specific regard for transmisogny, like, actually fuck you dude
