@cryborg It pushes healthy, mutually respectful inter-generational queer relationships that don’t involve any abuse at all to the margins where all these dysfunctional norms reproduce themselves over and over. The fact that this is at all controversial, or that people have adopted the “I hate kids or anyone younger than me” as a shield against this fucking narrative sucks and enables so much horrid shit. Even the “young people’s immaturity makes me want to avoid them” narrative itself is brought into being by a lack of role models and guidance and normal shit causing younger people to have no goddamn idea how to be.
