@KevinCarson1 I've been looking into a lot of the stuff the Soviet Union tried to do, such as the factory kitchens, common dining spaces, common activities, etc. and the like. I think the problem wasn't the ideas themselves, it was their implementation (esp. the communal housing arrangements, those were dreadful) and the fact people were compelled to do so, as opposed to making it an enticing option people would choose of their own accord. I admit, the idea of the factory-kitchens wasn't all together unappealing.
