My stance is that the early church ironically thrived and spread when people had to hide in houses under threat of persecution, and once Christianity became acceptable, they stagnated and started fighting over stupid things. And now "the salt has lost its saltiness and is good for nothing but to be trampled underfoot," but hopefully we can tighten it up. I'm tired of faggotry in the church, and it's why I'm generally against giving any money to modern churches, in favor of directly helping friends/family in need instead.
