Both things are true:

1) Democrats winning is needed for preventing a slide to open fascism.

2) Trans people have objectively fewer rights and much less safety than even four years ago. Despite the centrist efforts, trans folk are losing ground. Fast.

I 100% don't agree with Ice Cube's tactics. But they're born out of centrists taking Black votes for granted for decades. The logical counter for that, is "Don't take Black votes for granted."
